VER 2.4 - Fixed a bug where as you could only send a line of text from the
.CFG file, now you can transmit an ANSI/ASCII/TEXT file over as
the reason the BBS is temporarily down.
VER 2.5 - Fixed a bug where as it would not necessarily wait for the connection
prior to transmitting the message.
- Added more error control in the event the .CFG file was missing!
(I had overlooked that previously...)
VER 2.6 - Added more error control, in the event you entered a typo or deleted
the BBSDOWN.ANS file or renamed it etc, the program specifically
looks for it prior to running.
- ALSO, took care of the light bar returning to the screen before the
WAITING FOR CALL message.
- Fixed a typo in the .cfg instructions...
- Fixed when the lightbar begins after connecting and transmitting
the message. It used to start exactly where it left off but had
erased the previous part of itself...now it starts all over again.
VER 2.7 -Lasted 2 hours before I changed more...
VER 2.8 -Added Dos Shell, removed the lengthy REgistration screen that is
send to the caller, sends Computer Creations and registered name,
Registered name will appear as UNREGISTERED VERSION if not
registered...
Decreased the size of the executable, uses 64k of memory now instead
of 100.
Changed the hideous Red light bar to blue...
VER 2.9 -Cosmetically different, now supports a small menu to cover the
blank spaces.
Added some assembly language routines in for carrier detection etc.
Will also run without an ansi file. It will show the bbs name and
a message stating that the bbs is down temporarily for system
maintenance and sign it with the sysop name.
Added user defined INIT/ANSWER/HANGUP/OFFHOOK modem strings...
Added IRQ 5 Capability (haven't tested this yet, if you have IRQ5
let me know how it works...)
VER 3.0 -Fixed that bug where it wouldn't send the screen to the user.
VER 3.1 -Decided not to abandon BBSDown and placed some advanced code in
BBSDown from InterSceptre.
Changed the cosmetics of BBSDown a bit.
BBSDown for Windows 95 is still under construction! Bear with me!
Inter-Sceptre has the BBSDown feature in it, and allows you to run 2 bbs's
and have a remote access Batch file as well for your own use...
Also has capability of disabling a BBS if you only use one.
